This took a bit longer to announce than usual since the verification hadn't been completed when the media got word of the news. But now it is done and verified. Therefore, I'd like to congratulate UAS Grisons for setting a new world record for the digits of Pi!
This new record continues the recent trend of computations using more and more optimized storage systems with less emphasis on computational power.
